our sculptural lighting and installation work stem from a deeper drive to create something that is both ornate and one of a kind. Experimenting with a concept or material, these works push the boundaries and complexities of sculptural art through lighting design.

Cascade Series

This idea began as material exploration through the combining of metals with glass during the glassblowing process. This particular piece has a layer of copper embedded between two layers of glass, creating the natural blues and bubbles. The glass itself appears to cascade out of the metal cylinder, flowing organically like a waterfall or raindrops. Hanging off the wall or ceiling, this light will adjust to angle, naturally falling with gravity.

Nucleus

This design was initially inspired by the idea of concentric circles throughout nature and our natural being. Facinated by the occurances led us to the nucleus of a cell. As the powerhouse and focal point, it naturally is the light. Also inspired by modern fixtures using circles, this design uses three rings of glass

in three sizes, each fitting into each other. These are free formed and solid sculpted, stretched to the desired length, and finally attached at eachend. At the very center is the small glowing orb of light, allowing the textured glass rings to refract what it emits. Each of the rings has the ability to spin on it’s axis, adding versatility to the space it fills.

Mushroom Table Lamp

this handblown glass table lamp travels through timelines as a futuristic take on a mid century modern design. Using polished brass as an accent, or entirely glass, this piece of lighting is a designers dream; versatile in all aesthetics and spaces. This tablelamp is hand-made glass, blown from one bubble. Once the shape has cooled down, it is “hot-popped” into two separate pieces, one being the globe, the otheras the stem and foot. They are then put back together in the mushroom form you see here. Our Mushroom Table Lamp comes in two styles, tall and short, as well as two colors, white and neutral grey.
